Transaca Ltd (aka 'TicketBucket') CRN 15536564 ('we', 'our' and 'us') regards personal privacy and compliance with our obligations under relevant laws, as an important part of our relationship with event organisers and users of our services.

This privacy policy ('Policy') sets out how we collect, use and handle personal information that we collect from:

Visitors,people who visit or browse our website,

Event Organisers,people who establish an account with us,

Subscribers, people who subscribe for information on products or services that we may periodically make available,

Customers, people who access our services to make a booking, purchase tickets for an event or make a donation or any other event-related registration or otherwise access our services, including downloading or using our mobile applications (TicketBucket Scanning Application).

In this Policy:

  • we refer to Visitors, Event Organisers, Subscribers, Customers and all other persons who access or use our services as ‘Users’ or ‘you’;
  • 'Personal Information' means information or an opinion about an identified individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable (whether the information is true or not or recorded in any form or not)'. This may include name, identification number, location data, online identifiers (internet protocol addresses and cookie identifiers), and any factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of a natural person.
  • ‘Special Category Personal Data’includes information about a person’s health, sexual orientation, sex life, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, membership of a political association, professional or trade association or trade union, religious beliefs or affiliations, philosophical beliefs and biometric or genetic data.

This Policy applies to Transaca Ltd. It does not apply to, and we are not responsible for, the use of, or the protection of information you provide to other websites or services linked to our website or that you use to access our website, applications or services.

If you have any questions not addressed in this Policy, please feel free to contact us using the methods at the end of this Policy under the heading “Complaints and how to contact us”.

Please note, if you do not agree to our Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service, you can choose to discontinue using the products and services, and close your TicketBucket account. If you are a parent or guardian of a child under the age of 16, you are responsible for your child’s use of Transaca Ltd.’s services, including purchases.

Information that you provide to Transaca Ltd.

We may collect different personal information from you depending on the circumstances in which that information is collected.

For Visitors

We collect your internet protocol (IP) address if you visit our website

For Event Organisers

If you register as an Event Organiser and create an account on our website, we will require you to provide your name, address, email address, work phone or other contact number, account username and password, and for paid events, financial information such as bank account details.

For Subscribers

For Subscribers, we may ask you to provide your name, contact telephone number, organisation name, and email address.

For Customers

As a Customer, you may be required to provide certain personal information to complete a booking which may include your name, address, telephone number and email address. If you make a payment for an event, we may also collect financial information from you including your credit card number and expiration date. As part of our compliance with the Payment Card Industry Standard (“PCI”), we will only store partial credit card numbers.

In addition, an Event Organiser may require us to collect additional Personal Information required by them. Such information may include Special Category personal data. If this information is provided by the Customer, we will also have access to it and we will hold, use and disclose that information in accordance with this Policy.If and to the extent the Customer is providing such information on third parties, the Customer represents and warrants that Customer has consent from such third parties to disclose such information.

If you download or use our mobile applications, we may collect your name and location.

In addition to collecting Personal Information via our website and mobile applications, we may collect personal information from Users by telephone or in correspondence from you (including by email, telephone, live chat, mail, fax or in person).

Information that Transaca Ltd. collects about you when you use our website

Our website collects information about the use of our site by all Users, including:

  • the website pages that you visit
  • your internet protocol (IP) address;
  • the type of browser you are using;
  • your operating system;

Our website also uses cookies to assist in providing our services to all Users of the site.

Cookies are small files that store information on your computer, TV, mobile phone or other device. They enable the entity that put the cookie on your device to recognise you across different websites, services, devices and/or browsing sessions. You can change your cookie settings via your browser settings.

Processing and disclosure of Personal Information

We use the personal information we collect to provide Users with a high level of service. In particular, we use Personal Information:

  • to email Event Organisers to activate their account;
  • to email information for which a User has subscribed;
  • to email a Customer to confirm a booking, ticket purchase or donation;
  • where an Event Organiser has elected to have a standby list for an event, we may notify Customers who requested they be placed on the standby list if a booking becomes available;
  • to deliver and improve the products and services we provide; and
  • to deal with queries from Users.

The lawful bases that we use to legitimise our processing of your personal data where we are the data controller are:

  • for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, or for the taking of steps at the request of the data subject with a view to entering into a contract;
  • for compliance with any legal obligations to which Transaca Ltd. is subject, other than an obligation imposed by contract; and
  • for the purposes of legitimate interests pursued by Transaca Ltd. or by the third party or parties to whom the data are disclosed, except where the processing is unwarranted in any particular case by reason of prejudice to the rights and freedoms or legitimate interests of the data subject. It is in the interest of all Users and Transaca Ltd. to improve the products and services that we provide. We use ‘legitimate interests’ to send information about our products and services when Users have engaged with us.

Where a Customer makes a booking and for the management of that booking, the Event Organiser is the data controller and decides which lawful bases to use. In these circumstances TicketBucket is the data processor and acts on the instructions of the Event Organiser.

We will not share your Personal Information with third parties without your consent other than as set out in this Policy.

Our applications may need to read personal information in order to carry out necessary functions such as sending email notifications to account holders or scanning in tickets and entries into an event.

Sharing Customer Data with Event Organisers

We share Customer's personal information as part of their bookings with the Event Organiser including personal information that the Event Organiser has requested that we collect as part of their event, fundraising or other event-related registration requirements. This may include Special category personal data such as health information, which the Event Organiser has specifically requested and requires for their event.

Event Organisers are not bound to treat your information in accordance with this Policy and Transaca Ltd. is not responsible for their actions. Please review the relevant Event Organiser’s applicable policies and terms and conditions before providing your Personal Information in relation to a particular booking, donation or registration.

For Subscribers

When submitting your contact details through our website, we will display or send material to you using the lawful basis of legitimate interests to make this legal. For material that we email to you, we provide a functional opt-out facility with all promotional emails. You can let us know if you no longer wish to receive this sort of information by emailing us atcontact@ticketbucket.coand we will remove your details from the distribution list.

Direct marketing

For Customers

We do not engage in any third party marketing.

For Subscribers and Event Organisers

We may use your personal information to provide you with further information about our products and services. Direct marketing from us generally takes the form of direct mail or electronic marketing (email, SMS, MMS, social media or other electronic means). In rare cases, we may use telemarketing.

If you do not wish to be contacted with such information, you may opt-out of receiving our direct marketing at any time by emailingcontact@ticketbucket.co.

Retention and storage of collected information

For Customers

Transaca Ltd. retains financial information for 6 years following the financial year in which a payment was made.

All other personal information is retained for a period of 4 years from the date of your last interaction with Transaca Ltd.

The security of your personal information is important to us. We are Payment Card Industry (PCI) Compliant. We do not store full credit card numbers, only the first six and the last four digits of the credit card are retained.

For Event Organisers

We may retain your information for as long as you maintain an account with us with the exception of any financial information which is kept for 6 years following the financial year in which a payment was made.

For All Users

Any personal information that may be used by our site in order to carry out its necessary functions is stored on a secured server.

We will take all reasonable measures to ensure the security of your personal information. Our information is stored with and hosted by Amazon Web Services in London (please see our list of sub-processors). The countries where your personal information may reside presently includes Australia.

Transaca Ltd. complies with the Data Protection Act (2018) and the United Kingdom Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).

In line with the UK GDPR, Transaca Ltd. has a data breach policy in place. In the event of a serious data breach, Transaca Ltd. will notify the Information Commissioner's Office and the affected individuals where required.

Access to Personal Information

Subject to any legal restrictions, we will let you know what personal pnformation we hold about you if you ask us to. If your request is particularly complex, or requires detailed searching of our records, there may be a cost to you in order for us to provide this information. You can make this request verbally or in writing by using any of the contact details given in this Privacy Policy and unless we inform you in writing that we cannot, we will respond within one calendar month.

For Event Organisers

Your records can be accessed and updated by you and you can also delete your account by contactingcontact@ticketbucket.co. If you delete your account your personal information may remain on our systems for up to 12 months.

Processing of children’s data

If you are under the age of thirteen (13), please do not use Transaca Ltd. without the consent of your parent or legal guardian. We ask that parents and legal guardians help enforce our Privacy Policy by telling their children not to provide personal data through services online without their permission. If you believe your child (under the age of 13) has provided personal data to us online, please contact us on contact@ticketbucket.coso we can react accordingly and delete your child’s data.

Data protection law

Data protection law gives people certain rights in connection with the way in which their personal information is used. If organizations do not comply with data protection law, they may be subject to sanctions and penalties imposed by the national data protection authorities and courts. When Transaca Ltd. collects and uses personal information, this activity and the personal information in question is covered and regulated by the local data protection law.

What are your rights over your personal data?

You have rights in relation to the personal information we hold about you. These are:

  • Theright to be informedabout the collection and use of your personal data. We do this by providing you with this privacy notice.
  • The right of access. This is commonly referred to as ‘subject access’. You have the right to make a request to see all the personal data that Transaca Ltd. holds about you. You can make this request verbally or in writing and we must respond within one calendar month.
  • The right to rectification. If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email us as soon as possible using contact details given in this Policy and we will promptly record your request and amend our records if required. For Customers please also see Access to Information/For Customers as it may be the responsibility of the Event Organiser to rectify or change your personal information.
  • The right to erasure. This is also known as ‘the right to be forgotten’. You can make this request verbally or in writing. If we cannot erase your Personal Information for any legal reason we will explain this to you.
  • The right to restrict processing. If we agree to restrict your personal data for one or more purposes we will store it but not use it.
  • The right to data portability. This allows you to obtain and re-use your personal data for your own purposes across different services. If you would like us to transfer your personal data electronically, we will do this. It only applies to information you have given us, which we hold electronically and where Transaca Ltd. is the data controller.
  • The right to object. You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances. You can make an objection verbally or in writing. You can object to us using your Personal Information for any of our purposes where we use ‘legitimate interests’ as our lawful basis for processing and we will consider your objection. You have the absolute right to stop your personal data being used for direct marketing.
  • Rights in relation to automated decision making and profiling. Transaca Ltd. does not use any of your personal data to make automated decisions, however we do create profiles of our Users. You have the right to stop us doing this and can do so by contacting us in writing at the address given.

If we are unable to act upon your request we will explain to you the reasons for this.

If you believe your privacy has been interfered with and wish to make a complaint, please contact our Data Protection Officer. The Data Protection Officer will investigate your complaint and notify you of the outcome. If your complaint indicates that there has been an interference with your privacy by a person not authorised to do so, the Data Protection Officer may discuss the complaint with that other person in an attempt to resolve it.

Changes to Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Policy at any time, so please review it frequently. The updated version of the Privacy Policy will become effective immediately. If we make material changes to this Policy, we will notify you by email or by means of a notice on our homepage.
